45 years in a law enforcement career. 14 years with the City of Northwoods and 31 years with the City of St. John. The last 22 years serving as the City Manager and Police Chief.
Associated Degree in Law Enforcement from the Community College, Bachelor’s Degree in Administration from University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Master’s Degree in Administration of Justice and Public Administration from Webster University. A graduate from the115th session of the FBI National Academy.
Past member of the Board of Directors for the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Past President for the Missouri Police Chiefs Association, Past President for the St. Louis Police Chiefs Association, Past President for the Overland Rotary Club and Past President for the Northwest Communities Chamber of Commerce.
Author and Administrator of the SARAA program (St. Louis Area Regional AMBER Alert). Member of the Governor’s Commission on Abducted Children. Former College adjunct professor at Tarkio College and Lindenwood University.
Married 47 years, 2 sons and 5 grandchildren.
